Vintage Delights

These roses are so beautifully done....

I've been at it again ~ collecting when I just don't have anymore room to put things (...pssst - there's always room, OK?). I blame the arrival of my sister-in-law's recent move here from the other side of Canada. Hubs has asked me to curb my vintage appetite, but compelled by proper etiquette and all, I just had to show her where I find all manner of good things for cheap. So, I leave you with some recent finds that were just too affordable to pass by.

This so so pretty and I scored three small bowls with saucers.
Pretty in pink

I have a fondness for soft greens

Not sure if these are vintage but they were calling out to me.

So pretty and, sadly, no matching tea cup
Another lonely piece without a saucer but how could I resist its beauty?
So delicate... a couple sips of tea and the cup is empty

  2. Oh, those are ALL so pretty. I think the lone saucer is my favorite. Who knows, maybe one day, your treasure hunting will yield the teacup. Hope so.

Hope you have a lovely day,

  3. I can't resist a pretty saucer or lone tea cup. I bothers me not one iota if I don't have a matched set. I just fall in love with the design, so artfully done. I recently found the prettiest little pansy saucer. Had to buy it for a hefty price of 25 cents!

  7. You have found some wonderful china! I love each cup you bought, and your tea cup and saucers are really lovely. Your green plate would work with some of the other cups well. Mixing and matching is fun.
Thank you so much for sharing with us.
    Hugs,
    Terri
